January Empties!

January seems to be the longest month! Does anyone else feel that way? Several times throughout the month, I stopped to ask “Is this month over yet?”….. But I digress. We are here to take a look at my empties for the month! I love when I finally finish a product, move it out of my collection, get to pull something else out, and rotate around my collection. There is just something so satisfying to me about finishing something and getting to pick something else out to use!

I do not feel like I used that many products up this month, but I did use some tried and true ones and a few newer items!

I used up an Ahhh Sugar Sugar Dreamsicle Sugar Scrub, and if you know me or have ever read one of my empties post, then you know that I love Ahhh Sugar Sugar’s Sugar Scrubs! They have one of the best sugar scrubs on the market! It is super course, and yet moisturizing to the skin. The Dreamsicle scent seriously smells just like the childhood favorite popsicle in the same name. A super delicate and fruity/creamy scent! I will always repurchase Ahhh Sugar Sugar’s sugar scrubs.

Buttermilk Bath Salts in Prosesso Berries from The Bathing Garden: I very much enjoyed the scent of these bath salts, they smell like fizzy berries, but I did not notice that they added much scent or color to my bath. I do not know that I would repurchase this product. I was a little underwhelmed by it. The Bathing Garden does do some good scrubs, and I need to remember to purchase more of those!

Is it any surprise that I have a Not Your Mother’s Dry Shampoo in my empties? What more can I say about this product…. It soaks up all the excess oils, gives my hair added volume, and it smells clean. If you haven’t already, try this dry shampoo! You will not be disappointed! I am trying different dry shampoos right now, but I will repurchase this.

Sugar Slushie in Queen City Vice from Ahhh Sugar Sugar: I really want to like Sugar Slushies, but I have not quite figured out how I like to use them. I have several more Sugar Slushies in my collection to try, so, for now, I will not be repurchasing Sugar Slushies. This smelled amazing, like coconut and strawberries!

Simple Micellar Make-up Remover Wipes: These are the best wipes that I have tried! They stay moist, they get rid of all my makeup, does not break me out or leave a film on my face, and they are super affordable! I always come back to these wipes and continue to repurchase them.

This is a little bit of a different one, but I thought I would include my OLLY The Perfect Women’s Multi. I do not normally like multi-vitamins, they tend to upset my stomach, but these taste amazing and do not upset my stomach. I have already repurchased them, and I recommend giving them a shot!

Zoetic Petal Drops Facial Oil: I loved this! It is super moisturizing and light on your skin. It comes in a beautiful glass dropper with dried flower petals in it. It absorbs nicely into my skin, and moisturizes my face without breaking me out or making me oily. I prefer oils to cream moisturizers, and this is my Holy Grail right now! I have already repurchased this product and will continue to do so. I highly recommend giving this a shot!

LUSH Aqua Marina: This is another Holy Grail product! Can I say anymore about this that I haven’t already? It is perfect for sensitive skin. It cleanses my face nicely, does not break me out, and keeps my oils at bay without stripping my skin. I have already repurchased and will continue to do so!

Dermalogica Precleanse Balm: My skin therapist recommended this to me, so I thought I would give it a try! It was alright. It did take my makeup off, but I find that I enjoy a cleansing oil more than a cleansing balm. I do not believe that I will repurchase this item. I am going to go back to a cleansing oil.

Frozen Custard in Queen Tea from Ahhh Sugar Sugar: I loved this! This is the first Frozen Custard that I have tried from Ahhh Sugar Sugar, and I was thoroughly impressed! I might even like this more than their Whipped Meringues. Queen Tea was a very nice delicate tea scent with a nice undertone of orange blossom and lemon pound cake. I will definitely be repurchasing more Frozen Custards from Ahhh Sugar Sugar! Would you guys be interested in reading a blog about the differences in Ahhh Sugar Sugar’s Whipped Meringues and Frozen Custards? If you do, let me know in the comments!
