September Empties

The months continue to fly by and every month I am happy to be getting use out of my products! Here is what I used up in the month of September!

Ahhh Sugar Sugar Aloha, Beaches Sugar Scrub: I did not think that I would like this scent, because I am not the biggest fan of coconut, but I really ended up enjoying it! You can hardly smell the coconut, and what really stands out is the cherry and pineapple juice. I already love Ahhh Sugar Sugar Scrubs, and this product does not disappoint! If you haven’t already, you NEED to try their scrubs.

The Dirty Goat Pink Grapefruit moisturizing body scrub: The Dirty Goat does good scrubs! They somehow seem to pack more “scrubbies” into a product than seemingly possible! It really does resurface the skin, and continue to moisturize after it has been used. The pink grapefruit scent is delightful as well! I have a review of this product here!

LUSH Aqua Marina Face Wash: If you have read any of my empties, you know that this is my holy grail face wash! It is perfect for my combination, sensitive skin. It keeps my skin clean, doesn’t irritate it, and keeps my oil at bay!

Macadamia Nourishing Moisture Hair Masque: I did not enjoy this product. I have used several different hair masks, and all of them were better than this one. I did not feel as if this helped or repaired my hair in any way. It may have added some extra moisture to my hair, but not much else. If nothing else, it did smell good!

Ahhh Sugar Sugar Morality Whipped Meringue: I enjoyed this whipped meringue! It is not my favorite scent they have done, but it is very clean and herbally. I really enjoy and recommend their whipped meringues! You can check out a review of this product here!

The Dirty Goat Natural Probiotic Deodorant: I LOVE this product! I cannot say enough good things about this deodorant! I recommend this product to everyone, and will continue to do it. It keeps me smelling fresh, does not have any of that pesky aluminum in it, and it smells amazing! My pores are also clear because I do not have any buildup of toxic metals! I have a review of this here and check out her website here!

Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil: I love this cleansing oil! I use this to take off my makeup at night, and get my face ready to cleanse. This is an affordable oil that breaks down makeup, even oil based makeup. It has a pump, so the oil does not get all over the place, and it smells amazing! If you are in the market for a cleansing oil, I recommend giving this a shot!

E.l.f. Cleansing Cloths: These makeup wipes were just okay. They did not stay wet enough, so I felt like I needed to use something else to help get my makeup off. If they could stay saturated in the solution, then I believe they would be better. They are nice for the price, and they do get swatches off well.

Not Your Mother’s Hair Spray: This product is terrible, and I hate to say that. The nozzle got all clogged, so it either wouldn’t spray or would spray in a shot somewhere. It did alright to add hold to my hair, but it was nothing amazing. It is not something that I would buy again.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask: I enjoyed this product and it did last a very long time, but it is not something that I would repurchase. I believe I can get the same results from a highly moisturizing lip balm and could pay a 1/4th of the price for it.

Colorado Earth Scents: We used up two 6-cube clams scented in Lemon Pound Cake and Java Joy. These were a few of my favorite! My fiánce and I love anything coffee scented, so the Java Joy was a huge hit in our house! I love anything lemon scent, so the Lemon Pound was a favorite of mine. I will definitely repurchase from this company. I like to use soy instead of paraffin, and this company does 100% Natural U.S. Soy Wax Melts. Check out their website here!

NYX Matte Finish: This is my favorite finishing spray! I like to have a matte finish, and it helps keep my makeup set all day. I have probably gone through 10 bottles of this, and continue to repurchase.

August Empties

Here are my empties and mini reviews of what I used in the month of August!

I used up the Lemslip Buttercream from LUSH. I do not normally like LUSH’s Buttercreams but I really enjoyed this one. I felt like this one actually cleaned, and was more than just a high priced moisturizer. I really enjoyed the lemon scent and I would repurchase this product.

The Dirty Goat Lemon Love Whipped Cleansing Scrub: I very much enjoyed this product. It lathered up very nicely and still offered a nice exfoliation. I am a huge fan of the lemon scents, and I would most definitely repurchase next time it is offered! Here is my review of this product, go check it out!

Zoetic Be Confident Strawberries and Cream Sugar Body Polish: I highly enjoyed this scrub as well! It offers a nice exfoliation and the scent collection is out of this world! Definitely check out Zoetic’s Sugar Body Polishes, they are worth it! Check out my review of this product here.

LUSH Eau Roma Water: I like to use this toner water when my skin is feeling extra dry and sensitive. It has lavender and rose in it, which is super calming and hydrating for the skin. It has a nice relaxing, light lavender scent to it.

I used up three LUSH shower gels: So White, Back for Breakfast, and Butterball. All of these shower gels only had a little bit left in them, so before starting a new product, I used up the last remnants on these shower gels. I would not repurchase So White or Butterball, but I would repurchase Back for Breakfast.

Victoria Secret Noir Tease: I very much enjoyed this perfume, and I would repurchase again. Victoria Secret has nice perfume, and it becomes very reasonably priced when they go on sale!

Last but not least, I used up another Not Your Mother’s Dry Shampoo. I love this stuff, and I have probably been through 20 bottles of it! It is super affordable and works very well. I will continue to repurchase!

July Empties

AHHH Sugar Sugar 7pm in Charleston Salt Scrub: I love this salt scrub! I do not like usually like salt scrubs, but Ahhh Sugar Sugar has changed the game for me! This has a very nice clean scent and works wonders on the skin! I have a review of it already here: https://delightfulramblings.com/2017/06/23/ahhh-sugar-sugar-salt-scrub/

LUSH Sparkling Dusting Powder in First Snow: I didn’t know quite what to do with a Dusting Powder when I first got one. I did not like the idea of using it on my sheets because of the recent research involving talc. I did not like the idea of using it on my carpet, because I have heard about it overheating the engine of the vacuum. I ended up using it for the drains in my kitchen sink. We do not have a dishwasher, so after I would get done washing dishes, I would put a little bit in the bottom of the sink to help keep out kitchen smelling fresh! It worked well, and I enjoyed using the product in that way!

LUSH Aqua Marina Face Wash: This is my holy grail face wash! It is perfect for my combination and sensitive skin. It helps keep my face clear and my oils at bay. If you have not tried this yet, give it a shot! It has done wonders for my skin.

Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil: I have gone through many bottles of this! I use this to take off my makeup at night and it does the job well. I have tried other cleansing oils in the past, and they all do the job, this one is cost effective and has a pump, so it wins!

Almay Eye Makeup Remover Liquid: This is a good eye makeup remover. It gets rid of all my mascara and cream shadows. It does sting my eyes a little bit, so I will be looking for a different one that does not sting my eyes.

LUSH Tea Tree Toner Water: I LOVE this stuff! I buy this in the big bottles because I use this everyday. Tea Tree is antibacterial and antifungal. It also has a lovely woody smell. I use this after I wash my face to help keep my face clear and clean.

Simple Micellar Face Wipes: These are some of the best face wipes I have ever used! They take all my makeup off, even my eye makeup! They don’t sting my eyes and it doesn’t leave a weird residue on my face. I will definitely repurchase them!

AHHH Sugar Sugar Mrs. Claus Whipped Meringue: AHHH Sugar Sugar Whipped Meringues have changed my lotion game! They keep my skin super soft and hydrated. I will forever repurchase this product! I am new to the Mrs. Claus scent, and but I have found that I really enjoy it! It is a nice musky, sweet scent. I have a review of this product here: https://delightfulramblings.com/2017/08/02/mrs-claus-whipped-meringue/

LUSH Breeze on a Sea Air: This was a nice toner water, but it does not compare to the Tea Tree Toner Water. I enjoyed using this, but I would not repurchase this.

LUSH Mint Julips Lip Scrub: This is the best lip scrub I have ever used! I prefer to use minty scented lip scrubs, and this one is a wonderful minty scent and it tastes good! It offers a perfect amount of “scrubbiness” and it takes all the dead skin off my lips without damaging my lips!

June Empties!

Zoetic Bath Salts: I loved these bath salts and I was able to get several uses out of the jar! I will definitely look into repurchasing these! I love that they come in glass jars that I can reuse later! Check out the review I did on them here: https://delightfulramblings.com/2017/07/04/zoetic-gravity-bath-salts/

Soap and Glory Deep Moisture Body Milk: I enjoy Soap and Glory’s products, but I did not enjoy this scent in this format. I love this scent in the scrub form though! This lotion is an excellent value for the price, and I love that it comes in a pump! I will be repurchasing (but in a different scent) as soon as I finish up some more body lotions.

Bath and Body Works Body Cream: I have this Body Cream in the scent Stress Relief. I highly enjoy these Body Creams, and I like to use them as hand creams at night! I only purchase them when they are on sale from the Semi-Annual Sale. I may end up repurchasing this lotion, but I prefer to spend my money on small businesses with artisan products.

LUSH Skinny Dip Buttercream: I did not enjoy this scent. This was supposed to have clove bud in it (which I love), but I could barely smell it. All I really got from the product was a bland vanilla scent and maybe the soap base. I do not really enjoy LUSH Buttercreams. I enjoy when products and soaps suds up, and LUSH Buttercreams don’t do this. I also feel as though I waste a lot of product when I use buttercreams, and I do not like to waste! I will not be repurchasing this product.

LUSH Aqua Marina Face Wash: This is my holy grail face wash! I love this stuff! I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin and this stuff is just perfect for my skin type! It has calamine powder and seaweed in it that keeps my oil and acne gone and is a sensitive enough that it does not bother my skin. I have gone through too many of these to count and I will continue to repurchase!

LUSH Fruity Beauty Shower Gel: I love citrusy scents! I enjoyed this shower gel very much. This is citrusy with a tropical twist from the pineapple and vodka. I have read a lot of reviews that complained that this shower gel went “off” within a few months, but I had this shower gel for over a year and it never smell funky! I do not know that I would repurchase this, only because I enjoy other scents more, but if you enjoy tropical scents I would definitely give it a try!

LUSH Antiphilitron Shampoo: This is a clarifying shampoo made from lemons! I love lemons and all lemon scents! I did not enjoy this shampoo. I felt as though I had to use waaaay to much to get my hair clean. I will not be repurchasing this shampoo.
